Previously of Bromsash, near Ross-on-Wye. Father of Duncan and Toby; foster parent of Amanda. Grandfather of Emily, Amber, Zoë, Thomas and Oliver. Great Grandfather of Archie, Sophia, Maisie, Oscar, Everlie and Elsie, Brother of Edward. Funeral Service and Interment at St Mary's Church, Linton, nr Ross-on-Wye at 11.30am on Wednesday 17 August. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu will be shared between St Mary's Church, Linton and The Journalists' Charity (Newspaper Press Fund) c/o Smiths Funeral Services, Furnace Lane, Newent, Gloucestershire GL18 1DD
